About us
We are your local community choir, performing several times a year. Our doors are always open to new members; we don’t ask you to audition, we don’t need you to read music. We just want enthusiastic members looking to sing and have fun with more than 30 regular members who are a good mixture of ladies and men.
The choir was started in February 2011. The initial rehearsal saw 20 intrepid souls come along and give it a try. Now, more than fourteen years later, we are still meeting on Monday evenings during the school term.
Our repertoire includes songs from the musicals and popular music from a wide variety of styles – Country, Pop, Rock, Gospel, Blues and more – and we have covered music by performers as varied as The Beatles, Abba, Tom Jones, Paloma Faith, Janis Joplin and One Republic.
We rehearse every Monday evening at Millfield School on Monk’s Walk in Buntingford. Rehearsals start at 7.30pm and end by 9.00pm and cost £5. If you want to join us, just get in touch or come along to a Monday evening rehearsal and say hello!
